Hopefully more natural looking eyebrows!

And I've just seen short (bolero lenght) coats that you just pop on over your head. Quite qute not very practical.

LardLizard · 22/01/2017 22:27

Oh they sound nice mrsladymary

Any pics or links

Boleros not the brows Grin

There seems to be an embroidery revival and the 'in' trouser/jean length is ankle skimming.

CountFosco · 22/01/2017 23:12

Pink and grey. Or at least that's what I'm telling myself after my sales purchases Grin. Agree about ankle skimming trousers, nothing else looks as fresh.

chanie44 · 23/01/2017 09:28

Tops with wide sleeves are all over two ships and blogs.

Kathmandu12 · 23/01/2017 10:04

Apparently embroidery yes. And white sneakers are supposedly going to be replaced by embroidered ones.

ShesAStar · 23/01/2017 10:08

I had white embroidered LA Gear with ribbon laces in about 1992! I guess it's come around again.

jobellinger · 23/01/2017 11:14

Florals and pastels have been all over the catwalk. As well as metallics, small bags, big shoulders, according to Vogue. And if you look at Vivienne Westwood, it's all suits, geometric prints, somewhat ambiguous styling. So anything goes, it would seem!

LardLizard · 23/01/2017 13:11

Thanks guys, I need some new trainers and I noticed a lot of them in the shops are metallic
Gold silver or rose gold

Metallics, embroidery, pinstripes, pink (in no particular order)

Kathmandu12 · 23/01/2017 13:42

Also read that bright pink will be in vogue -- that's my colour!

monsterbrunch · 23/01/2017 14:01

I hope this flared sleeve trend fucks off.

JohnCheese · 23/01/2017 15:37

I know, monsterbrunch. Totally impractical. Dip into everyones dinner Grin. Nevermind cooking and cleaning. There's a M&S jumper with bell sleeves popping up here there and everywhere. And a Zara one which like a fool I bought. Clearly meant for those who do fuck all very little work.

Pink and grey suit me so I'm dleighted about that. I've already had overload on the embroidery stuff. Granny shoes and flats stay in, hopefully.

Seriously hopng waists come back into fashion soon.

CountFosco · 24/01/2017 19:41

Those bell sleeves are indeed daft. Quite fancy a silk top with short kimono sleeves in a dark floral though.

If metallics are in does that mean I can keep wearing my sparkly converse I got for Christmas then CountFosco does a happy dance.

bawabod · 25/01/2017 07:48

I thought Green was the colour this season but maybe that's interiors only

beanfilledfish · 25/01/2017 07:50

flappy open backs.

HollySykes · 25/01/2017 07:52

Don't forget those ankle length jeans need frayed hems too.

Broody1976 · 25/01/2017 22:11

I used to love my LA Gears!! Blast from the past.

MartinRohdesBellybuttonFluff · 25/01/2017 22:35

Yy bawabod, I've read that green will be big too. I saw it on the Pantone website. I love green.

downwardfacingdog · 25/01/2017 23:04

I can't be doing with ankle length jeans, gives me flashbacks to pre-internet days when I had to sew bits to the bottom of jeans to make them long enough for my ridiculously long legs.

Thegirlisnotright · 26/01/2017 07:05

Ruffles, florals, and slogan t shirts are all over the magazines too. And grandad style loafers apparently.
