Will anyone miss them? I will. Really like their casual stuff. Will have to rely on (very sporadic) visits to US.

Can you still buy online in the U.K.?

Good question. I'll have to check.

I'm wearing a dress from there today. Sad

They're good for work clothes for me.

MackerelOfFact · 18/01/2017 12:45

I love their petite stuff, one of the very few places that is both good quality and has a wide petite range. I tried to get some petite jeans before they closed but I missed out. Real shame.

Sorry that people will have lost their jobs, too. Staff were always great.

They are very good for sensible, well made workwear, I agree.

Interesting. Gap branches seem to be closing down all over the place near me (Leeds, Meadowhall). Clearly not all's not well.
Banana Republic I don't feel too strongly about - have bought some work clothes there in the past that looked nice initially but quickly looked shabby.

I will miss them, the 7/8 trousers are fab
