OK so I just thought I'd come on here and share so easy money saving wisdom with you all in a hope some of you might share yours too Wink

OK so for those who want to try olaplex hair treatments, you can buy something called Colorphlex on amazon and ite exactly the same. A trial size (one use) costs less than £7 and you can do it at home. You get stage 1&2. It's amazing stuff. Stir into hair dye, bleach or even a deep conditioner and you won't recognise your hair after I promise.

I wrote to (emailed) Elemis a while ago enthusing about a product i tried and loved. In response they sent me a gift box full of goodies. So if you love a product tell the company's. Not only is it great feedback but some even give you gifts in return.

For Benefit dupes buy from the brand W7. Good products and similar ranges (especially the cheek and lip tints!)

Chanel Tan de Soleil bronzer ( gorgeous)
dupes are :

Boots 17 Instant Glow cream bronzer In Glow Time.

W7 Make Up and Glow Bronzing Base.

Both are excellent dupes imo

I'm using the colourphlex now. Will update you on my results. My hair is very fine, brittle and damaged at the ends from previous lightening.

TheMockingbird · 29/01/2017 07:37

Unfortunately, nothing a deep conditioner wouldn't do Sad
Glad it worked for others though.

I love the conditioner that comes in with the Garnier Olia hair dyes- does anyone know of one similar to that? You can't buy it separately ☹️

Blatantly place marking

It seems M&S Super Grape Day Cream has the same ingredients (minus SPF) as Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream.

One is £14, the other is £70.

(disclaimer - i haven't used either - it's something i found out last night :) )

Place mark Brew

Next eau de nude is a ringer for coco mademoiselle too and stronger than the lidl one, pleasingly they also do a reed diffuser in that range.

Home bargains do cotton face cloths for about 70p, not as harsh on my skin and the muslin that come with no7 hot cloth cleanser. Wash well too

Deathraystare · 22/07/2017 19:09

Also I've recently moved over to the No 7 pore minimising primer - it's way cheaper than Porefessional and really quite good.

Good to know Remus! After trying to sort out my dehydrated. slightly wrinkly bits I have ignored the t zone and the crater like pores either side of my nose!
