I'm looking for some flat comfortable shoes for work to go with straight leg smart trousers (this sort of style .www.marksandspencer.com/checked-straight-leg-trousers/p/p22490954?image=SD_01_T59_5412C_T4_X_EC_90&color=GREYMIX&prevPage=plp&pdpredirect) Struggling to find something so hoping for some ideas. I already have mary Jane style and flat boots, the boots may be ok but mary janes need replacing.

Something like these from Jigsaw?

What's your shoe size and budget?

SpaghettiMoon · 17/01/2017 13:34

Thanks those are nice although possibly a bit too pointy for me, fairly wide feet. I would have to try and see. Size 6 and £70 ish although can stretch that a bit.

Lots of different options here

Following this with interest... are brogues hopelessly unstylish these days?? I love mine!

ohms11 · 17/01/2017 17:24

I think Oxfords (brogues without the little holes) are still quite in. What about something like this? www.hudsonshoes.com/willow-black-shoe.html.

SpaghettiMoon · 17/01/2017 19:29

Spaghetti if you go for any of the Boden shoes I find they come up half size small so whilst I am a 4.5 I buy 5 with them.

Easy to return their stuff anyway though

these are really comfy.

not sure how smart or style you need to be.boden do some nice ones.

squiz81 · 17/01/2017 21:30

I love my brogues. I also just bought some moccasins loafer type shoes from fat face in the sale, the leather is so buttery soft!

mja100 · 17/01/2017 21:33

Have you tried fitflops? They are the comfiest shoes I know and have so many different styles. This is their workwear collection but the boots are nice too.

I have so many pairs of the sandals it's unreal! Smile

SpaghettiMoon · 17/01/2017 21:42

Thanks for all the great ideas. I've got a clarks locally I can look in plus the hotter and fitflop shoes look good. I need office smart so the schuh ones are a bit too casual
