Eyeliner - what do you use?

I like Rimmel liquid eye liner but I stopped using it as when I did the flicks it would often wear off during the day! I want a new eyeliner but I'm thinking maybe a crayon or pencil might stay better?

I use this clinique and it doesn't smudge or budge. Plus it doesn't irritate my eyes like a lot of brands do.

UterusUterusGhali · 15/01/2017 10:36

The one I find has most staying power, (and I've tried a lot), is a felt-tip style one from super drug that costs about 3 quid. I think the brand is B. Or MUA. Might be called Xtreme 24hr?
Gah. I'll look later. It's proper amazing. Will get me through a 12hr shift in the heat.

The Eyeko liquid liner pen in the M&S beauty advent calendar surprised me by staying put all day. Normally eyeliner migrates north by mid-afternoon.

MintToBe · 15/01/2017 11:09

Avon glimmerstick.
Absolutely love it!

fredabear · 15/01/2017 11:13

Love the eyeko one in the M&S calendar too

EmmaC78 · 15/01/2017 12:38

I use the Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner stick and it seems to last well. It is expensive though so am tempted to try some of the cheaper options suggested above.

Botanicbaby · 15/01/2017 12:51

Definitely pot of gel liner with a good brush. Agree with Bobbi brown. Also like Estée Lauder ones.

The shimmery ones with glitter in dry out quickly so beware.

pleasestopsnoring · 15/01/2017 13:44

primark felt tip, only bettered by primark liquid, but I can't put on liquid without it getting everywhere so I stick to felt tip. £1.50 bargain!

Lenazabaglione · 15/01/2017 13:47

MAC Liquidlast. Bombproof.

PrettyDarnQuick · 15/01/2017 13:49

Blinc - look it up! It's lengendary in staying power due to different formulation.

UterusUterusGhali · 15/01/2017 16:33

Mine was the Collection Extreme 24hour felt-tip.
That and tubing mascara will last a night shift on labour ward.

I found even gel slid down for me, but it's put through its paces.

Fibbertigibbet · 15/01/2017 16:43

17 Tattoo Me liquid eyeliner. Completely waterproof, doesn't flake, doesn't smudge. Amazing.

Cheesymonster · 15/01/2017 16:46

I use the same one as uterus

It comes in brown which I prefer.

Halfling · 15/01/2017 16:50

Bobby Brown Gel eyeliner. But 90% of the time I find myself reaching for Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencils which are my all time favourite.

bijouxxx · 15/01/2017 20:39

I swear by the Maybelline master precise felt tip.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 15/01/2017 20:44

I like the Seventeen Tattoo Me eyeliner but find that my eyelashes get covered in it and clump together when I apply it. Not sure if my technique is clumsy or if this is usual?

I also like the Collection Exaggerate waterproof eyeliner in a blue pot.

Izzydawg · 15/01/2017 21:35

Second vote for Clinique quick liner fo eyes, doesn't budge

Robin7 · 15/01/2017 21:44

Stila waterproof liquid liner (the felt tip one). Doesn't smudge or flake!

DodoRevival · 15/01/2017 21:46

17 Tattoo Me here. Nothing budges it!!!

Can be a nightmare if you smudge it when applying it though.

BusterGonad · 16/01/2017 05:42

I use a old school pencil, I prefer them as you can draw a wonky line and then smudge the mistakes away, and then go back and add more and pop on some wings too! I've tried the pens etc and for me they just look so harsh. If I want a pen style line I'll use a makeup liner brush and wet it and dip it into a eyeshadow. Works really well for me, I'm more then at home with a brush.

Monkeybunkey · 16/01/2017 13:18

Another vote for Avon Glimmerstick here. I've tried liquid eyeliners but always make such a mess!

StatisticallyChallenged · 16/01/2017 13:53

Liquid- Clinique pretty easy or urban decay razor light
Gel- estee lauder double wear
Pencil - nars, Stila waterproof or urban decay 24/7
