Can anyone give watch advice, please?

Mine is broken and given that it was a cheapy one it's not worth fixing so looking for one as a birthday present.

Only have a small budget - around £100, maybe stretch a little higher.

I don't want anything enormous. I don't want rose gold or gold. I would prefer a leather strap.

Any recommendations for brands? I did like the look of a Skagen one, but after seeing it on a person's wrist it transpires it is actually a dinner plate.

Have you looked at the watch on The White Company website? I'm very tempted by it Smile

Still worth looking at Skagen, they are not all huge and are just right for your budget. I went looking for a rose gold skagen one with a black face last year but was not me, ended up with a lovely silver one with deep blue face punctuated with little crystals, like stars. May sound a bit sad but I enjoy putting it on each day.

Mondaine or Citizen eco drive might be worth a look.

Thank you. I'll have a look at your suggestions and pop into town later.
