I got a lovely pair in New Look. They aren't leather admittedly, but they are astonishingly comfy.

They need to be leather, otherwise they won't last...

DD got some from Office (not leather though, but she says they're really comfy)

My method? See boots, like them, try them on, realise they fit, cry with gratitude, buy them all, in every colour.

Boots that fit me or poster x may not fit you, so may not be the best.

My current ankle boots aren't Chelsea boots but are Camel Active Rhiannon.

Try Google!!!! Otherwise: Dune, Carvella, Kurt Geiger, Nine West, Hudson, and probably more at Office and House of Fraser online. Plenty of leather ones in the sales I would have thought.

I got some beautiful black Chelsea boots in October in Jones. They are lovely soft leather and I have hardly taken them off since! They are a really classic and flattering shape and terribly comfortable too.
