Browsing Next for some fairly plain black heels and came across these monstrosities. Am I missing something? Why, just why?

Gorgeous Grin

Fuzzypeggy · 13/01/2017 18:55

I Like them!

SnowInJuly · 13/01/2017 18:56

They look like the hooves of a show pony.

Luckystar1 · 13/01/2017 18:59

£85?!?!?!?

JennyOnAPlate · 13/01/2017 18:59

£85???????????????

Fuzzypeggy · 13/01/2017 19:01

Yes they do look like pony hooves and yes £85 is way too much but I'd buy them if they were 30 quid 😀

Losgunna · 13/01/2017 19:04
Confused They certainly don't do anything for me but whatever floats your boat I suppose
ColdTeaAgain · 13/01/2017 19:05

I think Next is starting to go the way of M&S in terms of the frumpy and bizarre Confused

hollyisalovelyname · 13/01/2017 19:06

You'd want to have soft heels or / and a Soap and Glory foot file or similar Smile

HowardMoonsJazzTrumpet · 13/01/2017 19:08

There's a lot going on there, design-wise isn't there?

MorrisZapp · 13/01/2017 19:08

Shoes reached peak fugly years ago. Those are indeed shocking but I see worse everywhere I go.

museypants · 13/01/2017 19:09

85 Great British Pounds Sterling?! Sweet Jesus..

Ricksheadtilt · 13/01/2017 19:18

See this is just the kind of fashion weirdness that hurts my brain...
is it hot enough for open toed sandals or is it cold enough for boots?

Fuzzypeggy · 13/01/2017 19:29

I used to think so too rick but peep toe boots have been around for several years now and I've just got used to seeing them. Fine for a night out imo

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 13/01/2017 19:30

They're fine! What's wrong with them?

GreenShadow · 13/01/2017 19:51

Agree with you OP. They look awful. But then I'm Mrs Frump from Frumpville.

Amethyst81 · 13/01/2017 21:50

Agree OP they are absurd and hideous! Who would pay £85 I wonder?

JournosAreLazy · 13/01/2017 21:58

I can imagine Topshop stocking them and probably selling out. However they don't really seem right for most of Next's customer base or target audience. Plus they look a bit cheap for £85. Ridiculous price.

DrScholl · 13/01/2017 22:52

i like them

previously1474907171 · 14/01/2017 01:42

Poodle paws Grin but I have seen worse.

BreakfastAtSquiffanys · 14/01/2017 01:47

They're the bastard offspring of a shoeboot and a cold shoulder top

Lules · 14/01/2017 01:51

See I have plenty of mainly young mainly student friends who would wear them. Yes I think they're ugly but I don't think it's aimed at me.

EddieStobbart · 14/01/2017 01:53

Have come to conclusion I don't "get" most clothes on high street and if it's a trendy shop (so not Next) it's completely beyond me - big fluffy acrylic jumper and calf length pleated skirt in Top Shop window, nope, I don't understand, even the mannequin looks frumpsville shit.

BusterGonad · 14/01/2017 16:17

Ha ha breakfast, I'm not sure I'd wear them but I can see that they are unusual and quirky. I quite like them, maybe I would wear them!
