Does this suit me? Never worn make up really , and quite keen to start adding some colour. Just whacked this on in boots! Thanks :)

I like it

Very nice! Which lipstick is it?

If you're new to strongly coloured lipstick, it can take a bit of getting used to. I had a few days of jumping every time I looked in the mirror! But stick with it and you will get to love it

It's a Max Factor one , Cant remember the colour. Didn't buy it as was in a rush but will probably go back to get it!!

My way of doing it , is literally just Nivea lip balm stick to moisturise and then smear the lipstick on and hope for the best !

It's lovely!

It suits you for sure, maybe if you get it invest in the lip liner too that way it will always look neat.

bojorojo · 11/01/2017 18:32

Yes it does suit you. I think you would also look good wearing a strong dusky pink like Smashbox Bad Mood. My daughter who has your hair colouring likes deeper reds, especially for evening.

jeaux90 · 11/01/2017 20:45

Nice!! Have you tried the black grape lip gloss by Clinique? I reckon that would look lovely with your colouring

GOhara · 11/01/2017 20:47

Lovely!!

daquee101 · 11/01/2017 20:53

Keep the suggestions coming guys! It's got good staying power too, need to investigate lip liner , never used it before. Was never taught how to do makeup therefore don't really wear it much!

I love Benefit's Benetint and Posie tint, I build up the layers to deepen the colour and then add a smidge of Vaseline on top. The colour lasts all day on me.

LoupGarou · 11/01/2017 21:07

And yes, that colour looked great on you.

BusterGonad · 12/01/2017 03:51

Gently line you lips all over with a matching liner, get one from the same range as it will more than likely have a similar shade, line all over and fill in, pop your lipstick on and then just check the edges are neat, if not pop your liner around again. It's easy, maybe practice at home first. With lipsticks the colours you are drawn too naturally suit you, I find anyway, and if not who cares? It's fun and a good confidence booster.
