Effective cellulite Non surgical treatment

I am overall slim but cannot stand my cellulite. My job is office based, so a lot of sitting. Tried with jogging, home massages with oil, but it didn't help, so I would like to do a treatment with machine/laser/ultrasound etc. I love to look lovely smooth-skin in bikini ...

I would appreciate any recommendations for Central London.

Cellulite = beauty babble for ' a type of normal skin texture'. Unrelated to weight, (those poor cows on the catwalk can have it )occupation, diet or anything except genes.

BTW herbal tea contains lots of the same chemicals as the standard stuff.

I found mine disappeared when I cut out sugar/refined carbs for a few months. Don't know why that would happen but it did start creeping back when I started to eat them again.

I agree with boldly the less processed foods you eat and caffeine equals less cellulite models have it because they are skinny but generally eat crap, Kate Moss smokes and drinks and most live off Diet Coke and fags. When I had disordered eating and nothing passed my lips unless it was carb free, processed free and basically grow or was chicken or fish I had no cellulite, today I eat anything and guess what I have a bit of cellulite!

It is genetic and I have it since I was 18. I agree it is quite common, but mine is getting severe after I turned 40.Tried so many methods and I eat very healthy.
Not eating processed foods and carbs overall, incl. pasta, bread, rice. For all of these years it gets worse with the age. Occasionally I may eat a wrap with salad and chicken (no mayo) on my lunch break, but this is once per week. I do not smoke, I do not drink juices and fizzy. Kate Moss is not my role model, I would rather take example from Kate Hudson or Jennifer Anniston.
I have friends, normal mums who have done Venus Legacy abroad and got rid of cellulite completely with couple of sessions. I need to find similar here.
I also do not eat pork and lamb meat, but my sins are white wine, champagne and black espresso (1x day only). I also avoid prawns/shrimps as they are quite fattening as well.
Also watching my weight on a weekly basis.

My mum had it, my cousin who was modelling until she gave birth, every woman in my family that I know.

I am running on the treadmill 2 x week and look very good in tight clothes size 6 - I can easily wear them in size 24" with high heels and top not covering my waist. My problem is my 'bikini body' from waist to knees.

So I really look for laser or ultrasound or 'freeze' treatment. I read a lot about mesotherapy but will appreciate feedback from someone with experience.

It's just normal fat beneath the skin. Eating no carbs probably helped as you probably lost weight overall. Women are predisposed to store fat on the thighs hence the appearance of cellulite on very slim women.

Your diet sounds restricted enough that it's not helpful for people to be recommending cutting out more food groups. Particularly if you are prone to beliefs like "prawns are fattening" - your attitude to food could easily become unhealthy.

I tried endermologie when I lived in France. It's a deep massage technique with a machine that sucks your skin and rolls it- google it as my explanation is not good. It made a difference, but you would need to do it regularly- I couldn't be bothered!
I think it depends on the cellulite (some is superficial, some is deep cellulite, etc).
Any massage can help; toning up/exercising can help too...but it's unlikely you will get rid of it 100%
Have you tried circuit training? Something like Kayla BBG or some weight lifting? You do cardio but sometimes toning helps more with cellulite.

I've had mesotheraphy but it didn't do much. The only time mine looked better was when I hit the gym every day, lots of squats etc.

Yes, that would probably going to work - gym every day, plenty of fluids, massages and good night sleep. Which will be a overkill with my life style with 2 children in school age and full time work.
I have a close friend she has a killer body. Excising every day (at least an hour), hand massages and she eats everything. I am guessing the metabolism contributes as well. Very firm skin and toned bum and legs.
But she does not work. And is 7 years younger :-)

I went to a clinic locally and they gave me a quote for 6 procedures, but they only have doctor on Wednesdays and are open until 6pm - doesn't work for me.

I bought a tool for a deep sucking massage and oil but do not have time ... by the time we read with my daughter, I put the laundry drying and do couple of small jobs it is 10 pm already.

Yes, I understand, I also work full time, have two children, have no time really for much exercise. I only managed it when I worked from home. My cellulite has reappeared really quickly. I'm just prone to it but determined to make it the best it can be.

No worries, I did not mean it. I might have sounded rude too, with no intention. It is difficult to write what is in my head and how I understand cellulite severity. And it is difficult to be fit when you get up at 5.30 and go to bed earliest at 10.

From early age I had stomach problems dating from university when I was eating anxiously before exams and I had yo-yo effect. I then consulted with diet specialist and they advised me to aim eating healthy and balanced. Indeed prawns are good for you, I can't remember where I read that they are high in calories. I am not avoiding all food, but we make our meals from scratch at home, do not buy canned food, no fizzy drinks (only smoothies or water and milk for the children), we do not fry, eat chips only over the weekends as treat (not every week). We do not eat English breakfast. Kids' breakfast is very simple - shredded wheat with honey and milk. I buy fresh fruit and veg, fish and meat and wholegrain products and we have an au pair that cooks everything following my recipes. Even when we host parties I prepare fresh green salads, bbq-ed or roasted meat or fish (in winter too). All dressings I prepare myself from scratch using olive oil, vinegar, eggs etc. and I do not use a lot of mayo either.

Children are encouraged to get used to eat healthy and exercise a lot and establish a habit. So far it works for them, 3x week they have sport activities outside school. My DD has lovely toned body for a 9 years old girl, my boy is a bit small for his age, but he will pick up eventually. I keep on reminding them that is best to get used to prevention rather then get obese and try to lose weight. They are not fond of a lot of fruit and veg but consume cucumber a lot, lettuce, grapes and apples.
