No idea what to do with my hair

Just that really. My hair is difficult. Coarse and curly, tends to be frizzy. It's below my shoulders just now and I haven't had it cut for a year and a half. I just turned forty and I feel very meh just now. Need to do something but I am afraid! Wondering if I would get away with some kind of long fringe. Or I find I should get it cut short. I've had it just below the ears before and weirdly I found it quite hard work. I looked bit like a mop a lot of the time, I still do. Any bright ideas? I just want to feel nice. Right now I feel like a sack of tatties.

I think a chin length bob can look fab with curly hair - all bouncy and lovely and frames the face rather than swamping it. You can get some great curl enhancing shampoo/conditioner and other products too to encourage glossy curls. A good restyle can really make you feel better. Go for it!
