I'm off to see the National TV Awards at the O2 at the end of the month.
I got my ticket today, and it's says dress code is glamorous, as it is being filmed.
Please can someone point me in the direction of a cheap yet glamorous dress, please?
I'm a size 14, and prefer long dresses, if I have to wear one. I'd prefer trousers/top or catsuit. I honestly have no idea where to start.....

Pretty Dress Company does some lovely gowns but it's probably going to be one of those places you see 4 other women in the same dress.

Have a look at Chi Chi London on Asos.

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 09/01/2017 21:41

Chi Chi London dresses are gorgeous! I've found a few on the asos site, thank you for all your help!

I hope it's not a rainy day OP! The dress is gorgeous but not sure white is very practical for January!

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 10/01/2017 13:16

Lol! It's supposed to be a grey colour. I've got a black furry stolen to maybe use with it?

I was thinking more about the bottom getting mucky if it rains tbh

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 10/01/2017 23:30

You can tell I haven't thought this through...

I would imagine you'd pull up in a taxi and waft straight in, I think you'll be fine! Lovely dress and it sounds beautiful in grey

BitOutOfPractice · 11/01/2017 08:50

Have you ever been to the o2 bagel? Grin

Don't get me wrong op it's s very glam dress. What shoes / sandals are you planning? I'd have thought it's a sandal kind of dress. Again, maybe not great for January.

Sorry, I feel like I'm raining in your parade

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 11/01/2017 15:40

No, don't worry practise I'm going to see how long it is, and then decide on shoe wear. Maybe silver? I could always buy a very cheap track suit, wear the track suit up there, and change into the dress when I get there?
I will have to wear heels though, I feel....

Asos for sure.

BitOutOfPractice · 11/01/2017 23:39

Heels, my dear, are a must Grin
