4160 Tuesdays recommendations

I've seen this name mentioned a few times on here and as I have a birthday coming up I thought I'd put a sample set on my list. Any recommendations? I mostly like quirky perfumes my favourites being
New West -Aramis
Pomegranate Noir
Dark Amber & ginger lily - both Jo M

On the lighter side I wear
Van Cleef - Van cleef & arpels
And anything coconut/ marine like!

I don't particularly like anything strongly vanilla or mango

Any suggestions please

If you have Facebook you could ask on there.. they're usually very helpful. My favourite is New York '55 but it's very sweet.

I'm wearing The Dark Heart of Old Havana. It's got a lovely warm coconut smell when it dries down!

I also love The Dark Heart of Old Havana.

I also like Maxed Out (but it's quite expensive so only wear when going out), Sex Goddess and Rome 1963

I ordered some samples a few years ago. They came with a lovely hand written note from the owner.

Which makes me feel bad to say that I really really disliked all three. The Great Randello, What I Did on my Holidays and The Sexiest Scent in the World Ever.

Dark Heart of Old Havana is my favourite. There used to be an option on their website to order a test pack of either sweet or oriental samples of their perfumes, I did that before.

And I have just realised you mentioned a sample set in your OP. Late nights do not agree with me

Well as suggested I contacted them via facebook and based on what I wear currently Sarah suggested these;

The sexiest scent

I'm not sure about all of these, in addition I fancy The Dark Heart and Maxed out.

I've tried some of these. I loved Raw Silk on my sister but when I wore it it smelt a bit sharp somehow, same with Ealing Green. Mother Nature had two separate colleagues stop and ask what that lovely smell is, it's very blackcurranty and sweet. I liked Sexiest Scent to start with and then abruptly went off it, it started to smell a bit one-note to me.

I really love dark heart of old Havana but I do think it's not for everyone
I got gathering of the clans in the new year sale and it's stunning grassy and peaty very fresh with substance

I also like raw silk and Roses but less fussed on shazam or the sexist scent in terms world to be honest

I love Tokyo Spring Blossom from your list. Raw silk and red roses is very full on rose, soft warm rose rather than sweet.

I like Sexiest Scent. And I love Captured by Candlelight, Brigadoon, Babylon Sunset and Sunshine and pancakes, even though they're all very different.

Look at the Frocks and Hats sample set, a good mix there.
