Eye cream recommendations? Don't mind pricey!

I am exhausted! (Haha who isn't?)

And looking for eye cream recommendations. I have mega sensitive skin, which is why I struggle to find.

I don't mind getting something expensive if it's worth the money!

Any tips?

Having been after the holy grail of eye cream for years (have tried Chanel, Dior, Occitane and everything down to £2 superdrug ones) I have come to the conclusion it's emperor's new clothes. I now just pat a bit of my moisturiser (L'Occitane Divine- which is not cheap- £61 a pot) around the eye area.

The only one I've read about on here and in reviews which seems to get universal "yes this works" comments is the Hylamide one. Apparently stings like buggery though, so might not be for sensitive skin.

I have really sensitive skin too and been looking for a good eye cream for ages. I was allergic to Liz Earle and kiehls (eyes looked puffier and dark circles worse)

I bought the benefit it's potent and been using it for a few weeks now and I'm really surprised at how good it is. The lines look much less prominent and dark circles are lighter.

Disclaimer: I am a Neostrata bore

But their stuff is bloody good - a cosmeceutical product and not a "fur coat no knickers" designer skin cream. You won't go wrong with Bionic Eye Cream or Intensive Eye Therapy

Embryolisse eye cream works really well for me. Sensitive skin and allergies too. (I use all their products)

You can only order it online from boots though.

I've been using Clinique all about eyes for around 10 years. I have sensitive skin and I've never had a problem with it. It's doing a great job of keeping hereditary droopy eyelids at bay.

Costacoffeeplease · 08/01/2017 19:20

I got a sample of skyn eye cream in the m&s advent beauty calendar and it's the only thing that's sorted out my puffy eyes. I think it's brilliant and have already repurchased

Ladybirdbookworm · 09/01/2017 00:27

I also love the eye cream that came in the M&S advent calender
It's by Skyn and I can definitely see a difference in my eye bags
It's a weird consistency a bit like cottage cheese.

I use loccitane divine eyes too. Very sensitive skin.

Chocolatepudding85 · 09/01/2017 09:01

Ooh great recommendations, thank you! Now to decide which to try...

another vote for clinique all about eyes. its great. i also recently tried the ren instant eye firming stuff and it is a miracle worker. its a treatment rather than a cream but by god it works. 8 hours sleep in a bottle.

RosieThorn · 09/01/2017 09:16

Another Benefit it's potent fan here. Was really surprised because tbh I've always thought Benefit was overpriced crap but I've been using it a couple of months now and can definitely see a difference.

BusterGonad · 09/01/2017 09:26

I really like the Estée Lauder intense night repair eye cream in the brown glass pot. I've repurchased a few times but haven't used it in a few years due to money.

JaneAustinAllegro · 09/01/2017 09:32

I got a sample of the carita eye cream. It was a good 2 week supply and was quite literally miraculous (which it wants to be at £90).

Softkitty2 · 09/01/2017 11:07

Bobbi brown hydrating eye cream
By terry cellularose eye contour
By terry baume de rose
Creme de la mer

Kiehls avocado eye cream works well for me and I have tried so many. It's the only one that hasn't brought me out in milia.
I also rate the estee lauder under eye patches, they make my eye bags vanish.

Rainbowglow · 09/01/2017 13:06

Very impressed with Algenist Complete Eye. Renewal Balm during the day. La Roche Posay Redermic eye is good too and a lot cheaper. I use it at night and leave it to settle for a while then for added moisture I dab a little Vaseline around the whole orbital area including lids. For a temporary lifting effect Decleor Propologene gel is great - you can use it all over your face and body so a great multi tasker.

cathyandclare · 09/01/2017 13:48

Which Carita cream was it Jane ?

JaneAustinAllegro · 09/01/2017 14:50

I can't remember! the starter level one, not the Genesis anti ageing one (which I'm currently trialing - oddly slightly prefer the other one but it hasn't been 2 weeks on the Genesis yet, and there was a break in between the two). I've used over the years - Estee Lauder, Clarins, Clinique, Ren, Cellex C, Murad.... have spent enough for an Eye lift in a dodgy eastern european clinic probably! The Carita is genuinely the golden ticket - I wonder if it's simply the price point up that means better ingredients?
