How would you style this dress for a Winter wedding?

We're going to a wedding in Italy at the end of February. Approximate temp will be a high of 8C, low of 2C, if websites are to be believed.

I'm planning on wearing this dress but can't work out how to style it for winter (has previously been worn for a late Summer wedding). I have limited wardrobe options as I'm still breastfeeding and the baby is coming with us.

Would black be too heavy for it? For the last wedding I wore gold open-toed shoes and had a gold pashmina.

What about hose? Sheer black?

I'll need to get new shoes anyway and some kind of warm outer layer. (Apart from rain coat/warm coat.)

Please help; I am stumped!

I would go for some sort of navy wrap with navy tights and shoes. It will no doubt be warm inside later ..

Sheer black tights always look really old-fashioned to me. I'd say neutral/nude tights, then maybe navy shoes/necklace/wrap.

You could go for opaque black/navy tights, but I think this might look a bit unbalanced and too wintery. You might get away with it if you pick out the tights colour elsewhere, so a matching coat/cardi/wrap/necklace. Nude tights would be better, I think.

Black would be too much - I would go for lighter neutrals e.g camel or grey.

I'm going to try these shoes so could perhaps work in some kind of metallic silver/iron wrap to go with?
