Can you recycle makeup sponges?

Got a couple of Real Techniques miracle complexion sponges and I love them. Never found a brush I really liked for applying foundation and I'm not above going back to using my fingers.

Any good ideas to reuse them if they can't be reused? I love the sponges but hate excessive landfill waste

i just wash mine until they pretty much fall apart only had 1 do that tho the others ive washed a good few times and they are still in good shape
