I need some comfortable boots, I don't even care about the style too much. I'm fed up of having achy feet.budget £100 max ,but the cheaper the better. has anyone any suggestions please? I will have to buy online as no way of going shopping for a few weeks and my feet won't last that long.

Short? Long? Smart? Casual? I know you're not particularly bothered about style but I mean I just got these www.sorelfootwear.co.uk/womens-rylee-lace-boots-NL2373.html?cgid=women-boots&dwvar_NL2373_variationColor=010#start=19 and they are heavenly comfy but probably not what you're after!

frazzled74 · 06/01/2017 17:30

They look nice but not quite what I'm after, thanks for posting though . Short or calf length, to wear with jeans or dresses and thick tights, preferably black

My most comfy by far are ankle boots by Fly. The ones I have are not online any more but www.schuh.co.uk/womens/fly-london-yegi-grey-boots/1452287550/these look like they have a similar sole. £65.

Fly sandals are my most comfy too - they are my go to brand for walking! I used to 'go to' Gabor but they are not as comfy as they used to be for me.

Camper?

I just tried on some nicely structured (1" heel) UGG slip on brown suede ankle boots in John Lewis' sale for about £75. They didn't have my size sadly but I was impressed.

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie · 06/01/2017 17:58

Clarks are generally v comfortable. I just got these in black leather for £30 in the John Lewis sale and they are v comfortable.

My mum swears by Hotter.

Like Chewbecca I would say Fly London. These are my current and most favourite ones, sooo confortable.

I've got a few pairs of knee high Hush Puppies. I live in them! Comfy and stylish, can dress up or down with a pair of skinny jeans.

phoolani · 06/01/2017 19:49

I'd second fly for comfort, tho I never quite like their styles. I've also got these and they're lovely and comfy too www.dunelondon.com/mobile/pocket-causal-block-heel-ankle-boot-0092508510008484/ and I have to say dune shoes do tend to be comfortable as many of them have a noticeably cushioned inner sole.

Slowdownsally · 06/01/2017 19:56

I love Merrell boots for comfort. They have a great outdoor range for walking and schlepping about. They don't really do smart tho. Agree with hotter and fly if you need something better suited for office environments. I have a pair of petrol coloured fly ankle boots and go everywhere in them. The only problem is they have smooth soles so not good in the countryside or on slippery pavements.

frazzled74 · 06/01/2017 20:00

Thank you, it looks like fly are the way to go.

I bought H by Hudson Tatham biker boots last week to replace my ancient pair I'd bought from White Stuff about 7 years ago. They're very comfortable, look smart, black leather with a very warm lining. I'd recommend them.

LaPampa · 06/01/2017 20:40

Air & Grace footwear is amazing. Boots are usually more than your budget but they have some in the sale at the moment.

Dontsayyouloveme · 06/01/2017 20:48

Another here for FLY boots. 8ive got the shorter version of these in olive green. My last pair lasted about five years!! Well worth the extra money! www.schuh.co.uk/womens/fly-london-fly-seca-dark-brown-boots/1543266120/

These are the ones I have www.flylondonshop.co.uk/womens/flats/myso
