New year resolution number one, to take more care of my skin.
Have I made a good choice? I haven't had a facial for about 5 years.

I quite enjoy dermalogica facials. You don't have to buy the products- maybe they can give you some samples to try at home.
Maybe ask them if it is likely you'll break out afterwards (should not be a big nasty breakout, however). Enjoy it!

Thanks Blah, does it involve exfoliation? My skin is dry and bumpy so it definitely needs something.

Yes, the facial by dermalogica usually involves using Pre cleanse, eye makeup remover if needed, then another cleanser (depends on skin type), followed by exfoliation and steaming, extractions if required, massage and mask. Then they apply any serums/boosters/products. I think that's everything. One of the best facials I had was a dermalogica one in Glasgow. She applied eye and lip product as well. The whole experience was so relaxing. I'm a sucker for a relaxing facial!

One of my favourites! The cold oat type face mask is great but it smells 😀

Reporting back.
It was blissful, lying on a heated coach having all sorts of products applied. I especially loved the facial massage. While the masque/mask? Was on I had a hand and foot massage.
My skin now feels soft and plumped up.

Did they recommend you any products?

taketwofortheteam · 05/01/2017 18:35

Not specifically but I mentioned at the beginning that I'd just bought some Clarins and she explained when I should use the oils.

They did seem nice products, so I'd definitely be tempted in the future.

Blahblahblah, where in Glasgow did you get it done? Thanks

Blahblahblahyadayadayada · 05/01/2017 21:05

It was at the Glasgow City hotel (I believe it is now part of the Hilton group). The one on cambridge street in the city centre. I can't remember what the spa was called- hope it is still there as the hotel was being refurbished.

Total pampering bliss. I must find another dermalogica place again.

Thanks, I know it. Will book a session
