I'm early 40s, dyed my hair medium blonde for ages but it wrecked it and stopped covering the grey. Don't want to spend £60+ every 3 months for highlights. I was going to go grey but it's really bad and making me feel miserable.
I've just bought a box of L'Ore all light golden brown in the hope it won't wreck my hair as much as blonde. I'm naturally mousy dark blonde/light brown. It looks quite light on the box but Google suggests it might dark.
Don't know what to do! If it's too dark, will I be able to blonde over it? Aaaagh.
Does anyone else use this colour? Can you post a pic or tell me if it's dark or not?
Shall I just go grey?
Aaagh

Good luck. I use the exact same product. It is very close to me natural colour. I find I need to redo every 8 weeks. Not dark but I do find it just every so slightly auburny for the first few washes. But it is quite a natural looking colour.

Due to do mine tomorrow.

Ah flip I've had hot roots off a blonde before so I hope it's not too ginger! Fingers crossed

How did it go Devi?

Light golden brown is pretty dark. I prefer Lightest golden brown.

It's OK. Not loving it but it's not a disaster either Grin Think I will do a shade lighter next time. Grey is all gone which is nice!
