Problems with Alpha H liquid gold

I got a mini bottle of this in my M&S advent calendar and started using it a couple of days ago but patches of my skin now have raised red bumps. Is this normal (maybe working out the rubbish under the surface?) or is it worth stopping before I risk it getting worse?

It's quite potent, you're not using it every day are you? Twice a week in the evening should be your starting point.

I have been fine with it, skin quite sensitive so only using every 3 or 4 days

I've only used it twice, every other day. I've never had a problem with acid based skin care before

I've been fine using it too although haven't noticed any particular improvement. What I did notice though was when I spilt some accidentally in the cupboard, the paint on the shelf blistered
