What does a men's manicure Involve?

I think that's what I need!

My hands are a mess, cuticles tatty, nails unshaped and all different lengths.

I'm not a fan of coloured nails (on me) and long nails don't suit my lifestyle but I would like my hands to stop letting me down. Neat and "done" but not obviously so would be good.

What do I need?

To yourself or have it done?

DIY - look at Leighton Denny. I don't wear product (not allowed at work) but I use the buffer to smooth and shine mine
Cuticle cream, softens then you can ease them into shape with a rubber ended hoofstick
Then use oil round the cuticle to keep conditioned
Crystal file is kinder than emery board

In a salon they might do a paraffin wax treatment

It would involve a soak, hand scrub, nails cut or filled, cuticles tidied & buffed.
