Can anyone recommend a light floral perfume for me? I like Liz Earle perfume 100 although it is a bit pricey for me and I wondered on testing it again recently whether they have altered its smelt a bit.

My DD was bought Daisy by Marc Jacobs for Xmas, it's floral but not sure about light. I used to wear Chanel Cristalle which was light and fresh. M&S sells a good range of floral / natural fragrances, can't remember the range ( they have botanical drawings on the boxes), I love the orange scented ones.

Gucci Flora Gracious Tuberose is my personal favourite.

notyounanbread · 01/01/2017 00:47

The Liz Earle ones are lovely and I have always loved Amarige by Givenchy. Daisy is gorgeous too. My absolute favourite is J'Adore by Christian Dior but it's SO expensive.

MixedUpConfusion · 01/01/2017 00:54

Another vote for viktor and rolf flowerbomb!

stonecircle · 01/01/2017 01:07

Oh yes - flowerbomb! I've stuck loyally to that for about 5 years now. I just love it.

I love Daisy and the black one for an evening. Sarah Jessica Parker's Lovely is lovely too - and they sell it for about £12 a bottle in B&M

HateSummer · 01/01/2017 01:13

My dh got me Paul Smith Floral for my birthday. I was a bit unsure as I'm not a flowery perfume type person, but I love it now. its very light and sweet smelling.

Grindelwaldswand · 01/01/2017 01:14

There's always a particular perfume ladies in their 70s wear and it's very floral but im always too shy to ask what it is, I might try Anais Anais and see if it's that

ButterfliesRfree · 01/01/2017 01:16

Flower Bomb! Or want to something lighter try Daisy.

bojorojo · 01/01/2017 01:26

Guerlain Aqua Allegoria range. They change them and add new ones but they are light and several are floral. If you do your research you can often get a discounted one for under £30. They are much more distinctive than high street type perfumes.

officerhinrika · 01/01/2017 01:38

grindels it might be L'Air du Temps from Nina Ricci. Very light & floral and been around for years, still a really pretty scent.

Grindelwaldswand · 01/01/2017 01:42

Ill try that and Anais Anais can you buy both from the perfume shop ?

Iris65 · 01/01/2017 07:43

Yes, Anais Anais is very old fashioned - but it has a lovely smell. You can get in perfume shops and even some chemists.

PaulDacresConscience · 01/01/2017 09:46

Grindel - I suspect it's L'Air Du Temps. It is a lovely fragrance, but sadly it smells like bloody loo cleaner on me!

I really struggle finding perfumes. I find many of the florals smell very sickly sweet. The ones I do like invariably end up smelling horrible on me.

Umirrific · 01/01/2017 09:48

Some of the Guerlain Aqua Allegoria ones are gorgeous. I love the Pera Granita one but it doesn't last long when on.

MrsLion · 01/01/2017 10:08

Flora by Gucci

luckygirl322 · 01/01/2017 10:24

I use Liz Earle #100 too-I got Rosie by Autograph (original version) for Christmas, and it's lovely. Definitely floral, and very inexpensive, although it doesn't smell it.

user1483222570 · 01/01/2017 11:46

The Body Shop do great floral scents that are long lasting and cost effective x

PrancerForHoney · 01/01/2017 12:21

I got Paul Smith Roses for Christmas. It's lovely.

Imscarlet · 01/01/2017 12:33

Noa can be nice sometimes and relatively cheap. I have the Hugo Boss pink bottle one - I'm in my second bottle. I also have EA green tea, flowers by kendo and I had Lovely by SJP until my DD dropped it - I will buy it again. Also English pear and freesia. I guess I am a floral girl. Out of those, I can wear green tea and the Hugo boss anytime. The rest are really summer perfumes but are easy to wear. I'm wearing shalimar a lot at the moment, I like it this time of year.

Diorissimo - true lily if the valley. It was princess Diana's favourite !
