Eternity ring

I have gold wedding and engagement rings (solitaire) and would like an eternity ring. I think I would prefer a platinum eternity ring though as I think yellow gold looks a bit old fashioned now.

Would it look odd to wear a platinum eternity ring on the ring finger of my other hand?! I think it would have to go there anyway as I don't think a third ring would comfortably fit on my ring finger of my left hand!

No it wouldn't look odd.

Also if you're looking at platinum against gold I think it's generally advised not to have them sitting next to one another as the platinum is so much harder than gold so could mark it.

You could get your yellow gold rings rhodium plated. This is a temporary alloy that makes them look white gold or platinum. It doesn't damage or alter your rings and can be reversed. It naturally wears off after about 6 months you'll notice it getting patchy.

£35 for two rings where I am. Gives you more options on how to wear your rings.
