Please recommend me some new jeans

My beloved J Brand skinnies have finally given at the knee.

Would like to try some straight or boyfriend jeans, with definitely no distressing. I'll wear them mostly with ankle boots /trainers.

I'm a size 10, 5'5, quite 'athletic' thighs, smallish waist, sizeable bum and hips.

Midrise probably best.

Happy to spend up to about £100 max but would also consider buying two cheaper pairs.

Thank you!

I really like Not Your Daughter's Jeans.

blissieblue · 28/12/2016 20:57

Thanks. Have heard mixed reports about NYD jeans - also maybe a bit out of budget!

Marking my place. I am in a remarkably similar situation...

EmmaC78 · 28/12/2016 22:21

I sound like a similar build to you and recently bought a pair of Crew clothing straight leg jeans. I was really surprised at how well they fitted and think I am going to buy a second pair. They were about £65 but I think they might be on sale at the moment.

blissieblue · 28/12/2016 22:31

Ooh would never have thought of Crew clothing! Will check them out. Has anyone bought Topshop jeans recently?

Everyone here on mumsnet lately has been going on about the Next 360 jeans.

blissieblue · 28/12/2016 22:51

Would never have thought to look in Crew or Next. Clearly I have some prejudices to overcome! Blush

Joe's jeans. Most comfortable jeans I've worn.

Riversiderunner · 28/12/2016 22:56

Uniqlo or Current Elliott. Both great tho different ends of the price spectrum

Paddingtonthebear · 28/12/2016 23:14

I have two pairs of secondhand J Brand jeans and they are so nice. But so expensive new! The closest I've come to these are the new Levi 711 skinnies.

I'm gonna try the next 360 jeans soon

blissieblue · 28/12/2016 23:18

Yep have had Uniqlo skinnies before they were great - just had a look and mostly sold out it seems. Current Elliott would love ...in more flush times!
Shouldn't forget GAP of course..

Current Elliot and J Brand often come up on theoutnet and on other designer discount sites like brandalley. If you know your size they're maybe worth looking out for.

SSYMONDS · 29/12/2016 21:50

Gap make terrible jeans, they grow while you wear them and have always lost their shape by the end of the day.

Cocolepew · 29/12/2016 21:57

Next cigarette jeans.

AmberNectarine · 29/12/2016 23:59

I got some great boyfriend jeans from 7even.

If you are near London. Selfridges have an amazing sale on jeans. You could try on loads!

MrsMarigold · 30/12/2016 04:45

I'm a big fan of Mint Velvet jeans - very flattering.

purplefizz26 · 30/12/2016 06:15

I love topshop jeans.

All around £40, so many fits and styles, and a huge range of leg and waist sizes not just standard sizes (8, 10, 12...)

starsinyourpies · 30/12/2016 06:18

J Brand often on TK Max online, I got a couple of pairs pretty cheaply there.

Hellofromtheotherside16 · 30/12/2016 07:09

There are Armani jeans on house of Fraser website sale with good reviews.
