Is there something like e45 cream

But better.
For about the last six months I've been using e45 on my face which has calmed down my Rosacea and reduced my spots etc. But in the last few days I've really noticed my skin feels dry, and at 43 I probably need something a bit more going on...

Diprobase?

leccybill · 27/12/2016 21:11

Aveeno, Doublebase or Fucidin.

Try Aveeno. My sister (GP) recommended it to me instead of E45. Amazingly gentle on the skin.

Aveeno. I use it for my dry skin and for my DC with eczema.

Cakescakescakes · 27/12/2016 23:48

Much less greasy than e45 etc.

Aveeno
Nivea soft
Aqueous cream??

La Roche Posay Cicaplast baume - look for 1/3 off deals on FeelUnique or Esentuals - it's specifically for calming skin and I love it!

I also use Eternal Skincare Aloe Vera Moisturiser - they were at a country show and DM was talked into buying a pot (400ml for £20) which she ended up giving to me. I was a bit Hmm but have found its slowly become my go to moisturiser after a shower as it doesn't make my face sting at all. So much so I bought more at the last fair I saw them at - the sales lady seemed amazed I was buying without needing her spiel Grin

double base or aveeno

Another vote here for Aveeno (cream rather than lotion). It's one of the few creams that is excellent for dry sensitive skin and it does't irritate my eyes, which is a problem I have with most face creams. Also, it leaves a matte finish.

IMO E45, doublebase and aqueous creams are crap and make my skin worse. I always recommend Aveeno, at the moment I'm enjoying Steamcream.

Eucerin, they do several different creams like day and night cream plus a more greasy cream. Sold in Boots

leccybill, Fucidin is an antibiotic usually prescribed to clear up infections caused by eczema, so might not be appropriate in this case.

E45 doesn't do anything for me either. Aveeno seems to work for lots of people, but I'm allergic to it Sad. I use Cetraben.
