Anyone got anything good in the sales?

I fancy a splurge but so far have bought a bedding set and a curtain pole Hmm

I've seen a shirt on Cos that I've had my eye on for a while but the model is 181cm and it's not short on her so it'd be down to my ankles.

Some decent work trousers would be good. And I wouldn't mind a new leather handbag.

Anyone want to share sale purchases?

PNGirl - DH bought me the Coach Scout Hobo in navy for Christmas (yes, it was in the sale then). It's gorgeous!

I'm debating a pair of Hush trousers, but they're only 20% off, which brings them down from "ridiculously overpriced" to "hmm, still a bit pricy".

I'm deliberately not browsing as I want to stick to specific buys. I'm mostly after some perfectly fitting, slouchy, slightly masculine cotton, ankle length trousers for spring/summer.
Thinking about sending for these Toast ones in sage but not sure if they'll be slouchy enough plus they're not massively bargainous and it's probably unrealistic to expect to find the perfect cotton trousers in the winter sale.
On the other hand, if prices are about to go up as predicted, I may be kicking myself in a few months..... If anyone's tried them, please shout Smile

I went up to London today to the King's Road as I wanted to go to Cos and &Other Stories. Did quite well I think. Got a top in Banana Republic that I had been stalking and which I got for a bargainous £13 (it was originally round the £35 mark if I remember correctly). Also got a couple of tops in Cos, and a jumper and dress in &Other Stories, all of which I'd had my eye on pre-sale. I'm trying to be a bit more clinical about my sales shopping, and only buy specific things rather than a mass haul like I used to in my younger days. Not sure what my excuse was with the Kate Spade cross-body bag that seemed to jump out at me though!!! Justifying myself by the fact that it will replace at least 4 cheapo bags that I can cheerfully give to the charity shop tomorrow.....!

Took a dress back today and managed not to buy anything else - I will probably leave it now till right at the end of the sales - am back in work from tomorrow anyway

I think my problem is that I bought everything I really wanted in deals before Christmas so whilst I'd like to get something I don't really have any focus. I'm mainly buying make up and it isn't discounted. I have to say that of the things I was stalking or have already bought, none of them have been any cheaper than they were in the pre-Christmas deals so it doesn't make sense to wait and risk something you want selling out.

I went shopping today, it was hellish, but I did buy two pairs of Timberland boots at â…“ of the original price. That was what I went for so despite the very busy shopping centre I was pleased.

The boots they replaced were six years old so hopefully they will last a long time.

Slouchy black cashmere jumper from Tesco for 40 pounds. Had a blue one last year, it washed well and still looks nice. This years version is slightly slouchier. Very pleased.

I got this Ted Baker coat, I love the colour!

It might be a little on the loud side, but with that coat and my red hair DH won't lose me in a crowd Grin

I have bought a leather jacket in super dry for dd1. She has wanted one for ages and it was a good price.
I have all new bedding courtesy of The White Company and dh new shirts from crew all reduced.

Well I have excelled myself today and bought three cashmere tops and a second coat at Jaegar Outlet. I did buy two coats last week but one of them was a bit big and I didn't like it enough to buy it in a smaller size so went for something else.

A few of my sales purchases came today, some harris tweed for a skirt and a lovely scarf from the East sale.

I am shopped out, I am not usually spendy but felt the need to update my (mostly work) wardrobe after having gone back to work full time recently, my credit card bill is going to sting this month.

And I've ordered the oversized wool dress as well - hope it's a good fit.

And got in JL these kin shoes that look similar to the ones you linked. They're lovely, beautiful quality, all leather :)
