I have this in Sea Smoke a pale, pale green blue.
If anyone is familiar with it do you know of an eye liner pencil in a very similar colour ?
The Magic Smoky is too thick for under eye area application.
Thanks in advance.

Bump.
Perhaps beauty gurus would know of something similarly coloured to Sea Smoke.

That's a lovely colour. It looks as though it should work under eyes as well, though. If you find that drawing a line is too thick, make sure the eyeliner is sharpened and then do three or four small dots under your eyes and then blend with a fine brush. That might work?

hollyisalovelyname · 29/12/2016 14:45

Thanks London
It really is too thick

Then try using a thin angled brush? run the stick over the brish and use the brush to line your eyes

LondonHuffyPuffy · 29/12/2016 14:58

brush, not brish, obvs

hollyisalovelyname · 29/12/2016 16:07

I'll try that.
Thanks again

Try Marc Jacobs gel highliners- loads of colours and they last really well. I accidentally bought one which tones with Sea Smoke (Top Seacret) but there are a few possibles- peridot? www.johnlewis.com/marc-jacobs-highliner-gel-eye-crayon/p2907203

hollyisalovelyname · 29/12/2016 20:34

Thank you. I shall check them out.

Sadly no Marc Jacobs make up stockist in Dublin Sad
I'd have to buy via John Lewis in UK and not see the colours in real life.
Are you in a position to see the Sea Smoke and the Marc Jacobs together?

My experience of the Estée Lauder smoky eye pencil,is think of it as eyeshadow.compressed eyeshadow in a pencil. Best for smoky eye and blended with fluffy brush

GimmeeMoore · 29/12/2016 22:04

Posted too soon, clinique and NYX have teal and green blue eyeliner. Clinique it's a skinny stick

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 29/12/2016 22:05

Stay away from Clinique skinny sticks.
Scratchy, break up, unusable.

GimmeeMoore · 29/12/2016 22:09

I've had no troubles with skinny stick, but clinique consultant advised with new one that I apply it back of hand a few times to take the rigid edge off it. And only wind up a few mm or yes it'll break. I really rate skinny stick, easy to use and long lasting

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 29/12/2016 22:11

I had to return mine, which was a shame because I loved the colour.

GimmeeMoore · 29/12/2016 22:24

Yes,I saw customer reviews of skinny pencil saying they broke easily and were scratchy. At time of purchase the sales asst gave me advice re using the product - and to date no problems. But yes I'd be miffed if mine had broken

Thank you

Thank you all.
I have the UD in Covet but it's not right- I think it's no longer sold.
I might try UD Junkie.
I'd love to try Marc Jacobs Seacret but no where in Dublin does it. Sad
I might risk buying it online. The Marc Jacobs Peridot looks too pale.
