Help! I've cut my own fringe!

Hello lovely S&B people.

I have gone against everything google told me and cut my own fringe in a mad panic...

It's too short, but not too bad, I started in the middle and stopped when I realised my mistake, so its not a wide short fringe, just the front iyswim. It looks a bit like Audrey Hepburns fringe if I push it to one side. (my fringe not me, unfortunately!)

I do need to see a hairdresser. The rest of my hair is very long with no layers. I'm 26 and have black hair.

Any ideas of what I could ask for to fix? I'm not against having a thick fringe or an edgy style. Please help meee S&B I will be wearing a santa hat this xmas Xmas Grin

Why is Xmas so manic! Spent half the day cleaning and tidying up! I'm gonna take a good photo today. It's not super exciting! Bit different for me. It was a big messy mane before, but now it's not :) it's all sleek. (although right now it's Ben clipped up and slept on haha 😂

Looks great. I'm now toying with the idea of having a fringe again.

Nice!!
When I had a fringe I looked too young, but I actually really like fringe-haircuts.

You look great :)!!

That is an excellent fringe.

Now hide the scissors and never ever get tempted again. Hair salons do fringe trims for free after you've been to them once.

I've just watched that video - everytime I get a moment to mumsnet, its when the baby is sleeping and didn't know how loud it would be. But I did laugh. I should have filmed myself cutting my own fringe too! haha.

Thank you for the lovely feedback, so far so good with the fringe, and my skin hasn't broken out beneath it yet, so all good! I treated myself to the critically acclaimed Babyliss Big Hair styler (wooh!) On the subject of loud noises, it's quite loud isn't it (if anyones got one?!) Will be having a good test out tomorrow at some point :D

My hairdresser wanted £ 10 to trim my fringe and I've been going there for about eight years!
I always do it myself now.
