Question for perfume experts

If someone loved Chanel No5 and Oscar de la Renta back in the 80s, does anyone have any suggestions for a modern perfume that they might also like?

I know perfume is very personal, I'm just narrowing down the field because I have no idea about perfume at all.

Her taste might be quite traditional and lots of modern perfumes are quite different in style. I might go for No 5 in a different format, parfum, parfum cheveux (for hair!) or No 5 bath and body products.

New chanel no.5 l'eau.. Not as potent as the classic chanel no.5. Other brands penhaligon, diptique, jo malone
