Help me decide between these two watches please

I want a new watch for Christmas and have narrowed it down to two and now I just can't decide. Which do you like better? Or, have you seen a nicer one for similar budget (£50)?

Thank you

Not a fan of expanding bracelet watches I'm afraid, so out of the two, the Pulsar would get my vote.

Pickanameanyoldname · 19/12/2016 07:47

Same ^ I'd choose the Pulsar.

UncomfortableBadger · 19/12/2016 07:49

PS have you looked on ASOS for watches? Have bought several cheapy

KoalaDownUnder · 19/12/2016 07:49

Pulsar

wishparry · 19/12/2016 07:49

I agree with the pulsar.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 19/12/2016 07:51

Pulsar definitely.

LucyLocketLostHerPocket · 19/12/2016 07:53

Pulsar. I have an expanding bracelet watch from Sainsbury's from last year that cost about £12 and looks as nice though tbh.

Nospringflower · 19/12/2016 07:54

Prefer the pulsar.

BikeRunSki · 19/12/2016 07:55

Prefer the pulsar.

Sgtmajormummy · 19/12/2016 08:09

The Pulsar is much prettier, but a word of warning about light-coloured watch hands...
If you are (ahem) starting to suffer from long sight and don't wear your reading glasses all the time, watch hands that colour can be bloody annoying. I end up squinting and turning my wrist from side to side, just to catch the shadow.
Not what you want from an everyday watch. So I have a lovely Longines, which I chose, sitting in a drawer!

Cheesymonster · 19/12/2016 08:31

Unanimous then! Grin

Are expandable bracelets old fashioned? I remember my nana having one...

Thanks Badger I will check out ASOS.

Sgt that's a very good point I hadn't considered - I am now the proud owner of varifocals . Might this one be better?

That one you've just linked to might limit your wearing choices with the blue background.
How about this one on Amazon? It's well under budget but maybe there's a reason. Also no reviews, but you could look on other sites.

ConkerTriumphant · 19/12/2016 09:34

I like the Timex!!

BikeRunSki · 19/12/2016 20:23

I still like the Pulsar best, and agree that I would chose a neutral coloured watch.

Cheesymonster · 19/12/2016 21:34

Thanks everyone Smile
