I'm looking for a really lovely leather cross body bag up to about £100. Any suggestions where to look? Just for casual, weekends, shopping and running around the children. I keep looking but can't find anything I love

Radley have a nice one.

Try looking through the sale bags on line at House of Fraser. I think jaeger may have some in their sale with good reductions.

Minikievs · 16/12/2016 23:58

Fat face do some nice casual ones

Misty9 · 17/12/2016 00:04

I bought one from white stuff this year and it's lovely and soft. A dark raspberry/plum colour.

Fossil? I love my Sydney, holds a ton but isn't heavy when empty.

I have this in brown and it's soft and goes well with casual clothes. Not bulky, so you tend to forget you're wearing it.

Owen Barry are hand-tooled in the UK.

Sorry for the double post - dodgy internet connection

Thisismynewname123 · 17/12/2016 08:04

Thanks for these. I've tried Fat Face already. I've seen a lovely tote bag there but I haven't seen a cross body bag that I love.
Misty - which one did you get from White Stuff? I hadn't looked there previously and it looks like they have a few nice ones.
Diana thanks for that one. The colours look a bit summery though.
I'll try house of fraser. I think I looked there earlier, but I find it daunting trawling through 100s of choices! I prefer to be shown the 5 best and I'll choose which one I like out of the shortlist!
Jaeger wouldn't have crossed my mind but I'm pleasantly surprised when I had a look, so thanks for that suggestion.

Love the style of the Owen barry bag posted above. Has anyone seen a similar style in non-leather please?

coolpotato · 17/12/2016 11:38

Def Fossil. It's have the Preston flap in large and it's gorgeous. Beautifully made too. Most of their bags are around the £100-£150 mark but you might find some reduced.

Thisismynewname123 · 17/12/2016 13:30

Thanks. I was looking at Fossil. I'd go over £100 if it's worth it! That's more a guide price :)

I have a lovely purple Radley one, it was a present last Christmas, I get loads of compliments about it.

I've got this from Lakeland in navy. The leathers lovely and the front pocket's useful.

Aderyn2016 · 17/12/2016 17:30

Coach are having a 50% off sale I think. Their bags are lovely.

ihearttc · 17/12/2016 18:40

I got a lovely one from Fat Face last week. Its called Amelia Satchel.

Laquila · 17/12/2016 20:35

Scaramanga have some great tan leather ones

Misty9 · 17/12/2016 21:25

It is like this: www.whitestuff.com/mobile/accessories-shoes/womens-accessories/bags-purses/grey-large-zip-around-issy-bag/

But mine is a plum colour so looks like they don't do it anymore.

Have a look at the Kipling range...very light and lots of handy pockets. Ideal if you want for everyday use. Had mine for 4 years still looks new and it's taken a battering!
