Post Christmas drinks party

Dh and I have been invited to a drinks company being held by his new boss. What on earth do I wear? It's two days after Christmas so I'll be fighting the post Christmas bulge. I'm 5ft3 and a size 10/ 12 at the moment so I'll be firmly a 12 then. I'm 34 and a stay at home parent at the moment so totally out of the loop.

I'll probably wear some sort of shape wear as I have a post section tummy that needs a lot of help.

Help me please :-)

Where's the party being held?

Mummyreindeerlegz · 15/12/2016 13:46

At his bosses home. London somewhere.

Does this look ok?

I like that a lot.

I Hope it's flattering. I've ordered some shape wear.

Gorgeous and perfect. Do you have control top tights? Might be easier than shapewear plus tights.

Ooh that glitter doesn't look very grown-up to me, and they're a bit clumpy. The dress is so classy; I'd probably try a simpler shoe.

Yes I was thinking they might be too teenage.
