Can I get away with these trousers?

They were a bargain (which is probably why I want to keep them) but I'm not sure if I can pull them off. They are leather, my thighs aren't my best feature so I would only wear them with long tops for casual wear like this. What do you think? (Please don't be too harsh as ive never posted a pic before and am scared!) they are size 12 if that makes any difference

Can I get away with these trousers?

THank you. This has been fascinating. I would never dream of wearing the shorter top, all I see is huge hips, thighs and bum. My hips at their widest point are 42 inches so I'm astounded by any positive comments on the third pic. You are all very kind.

I like them and they are styled in a perfect way for day wear . I can't see how you are a size 16 though !!
