My Hush Tara dress came...

And I love it!! I was prepared for it to be unflattering, seems to be a bit love/hate it on mumsnet, but it is extremely flattering and I know it will wear it again and again...
In fact, I know it so much I managed to find a short sleeved navy Tara on eBay, brand new with tags, so have also bought that.
V v chuffed, I expect I'll wear it loads over Christmas.

Glad for you. I'm one of the people who bought one and sent it straight back. Not flattering on my size 14, 5'4" body and the quality didn't justify the price imo.

What dress size are you OP? Interested to know what kind of figured it suits.

Diana I'm a 12-14, 5'4", a bit pear shaped with a bit of a mum tum and it suits. How funny! Different bodies and all that.

I bought it in the medium, have the burgundy in long sleeve and navy in short sleeve. Think the fabric is lush, easy to dress up and down.

Am wearing the navy on Saturday for a family Christmas do, gold jewellery, black tights and black heeled boots, maybe a splash of colour with a scarf. Will see if I take a good pic then.

I love my Tara. If it is clean, I will be wearing it.

Can anyone who likes the Tara advise on whether the skirt rises up with every step you take? It looks as if it's bound to and my thighs ain't for putting on show.

I got the green one (debated for ages with all the threads in here!) and happy with it. Planning on wearing with black tights and black boots on Christmas Day but struggling with finding the right boots - anyone any recommendations on what looks good with it?

frisky I wondered this. To me it looks really impractical yet others on here talk about how good it is even with young kids?

I have a fat tummy (2 c sections) and baby weight I can't be arsed to lose. I'm a size 16 on top, 14 on bottom. Would this dress look shite on me?

I love it, want it in black too but out of stock. DD also loves hers. She's a tiny size XS and I'm a M (size 14), I think it looks great on both of us, always get loads of compliments.

Sprouty I think it would be worth a try. I'm a 14 with a bit of tummy flab and the dress disguises it nicely.

It doesn't ride up at all, I'm far too old for very short skirts.

I have the burgundy one in a size S. The skirt bit stays put so no riding up!

Love mine ( all 3) will be wearing the black one to works Christmas do tomorrow night. Lived in the navy one this summer, also have in green although not yet worn. Size 10 and a small ( although rapidly growing with all the Christmas chocolate around! )

I love mine! I am a short arse and quite slim, so ordered the small.

When I saw the size of it I almost sent it back without trying it on, but actually once I got it on I loved it. I can alter the length without actually using a tailor and its such an easy, comfortable dress to wear.

The skirt on mine doesn't ride up when walking (good job as it's perfect for work, and I couldn't wear the dress if it rode up).

My only problem is that as I got a good deal on it originally, I can't bear to pay full price for another one. -cheapskate over here

BabyClam yes you can breastfeed in it but the neckline doesn't have a great deal of give; depends on your boob size and comfort feeding in public.
