If I wear red nail polish with this dress (and silver sandals).

I don't know what colour to wear other than red. I don't really like nude colours, or like the model is wearing.

Is red classic enough to wear with anything?

A dark red would be fine. I'd probably go for a midnight blue

Not sure about total black unless it was maybe metallic. The midnight blue could be nice, or dark plummy colour maybe?
