Is this too trying hard?

I'm 44 and I looked ridiculous in them. But I have the lace up style and they look good.

I've worn them since the 90s, and I don't know why it would be try-hard, so long as trainers are part of your normal style. If you're more if a loafers or heels girl they might not look very 'you'. But I think they're very easy to wear.

I'm 40, have them in black and find them very useful. Very easy to wear, as Charity says, and seem to work with absolutely everything in my wardrobe.

I'm a sneakers person, just first time to wear velcro. I have the Stan with the laces.

I have the white Velcro Stan Smiths. Love them! I'm 36 & I don't think they look try-hard if you know what I mean.

Lady do you have all white or white and green? I've been thinking of getting a pair, given how much I wear my black ones, but not sure if it'd be a very different look iykwim.

I have all white. I think the plain white means they look a little bit smarter and go with more outfits.
I'm a total convert, they're SO comfortable aren't they? I might get the black too!
