Maternity Dress for Christmas

Both pregnancies I have bought nothing new, just second hand bundles of basics off ebay. So I have some jeans, some basic t-shirts and some jersey dresses I wear for work.

Id really like to get something nice, maybe with a bit of sparkle to wear over Christmas for a treat. I don't want to spend too much as I think spending on maternity wear is a waste (generally I will spend more on quality and wear it to death).

Any ideas on what or where to buy a decent outfit for Christmas. I'm 26 weeks now and petite so quite a big bump. But when not pregnant I'm a lucky hour glass shaped 10-12.

I've been thinking about either a nice dress, or maybe skirt and top as I may be able to get away with a velvet maternity skirt on the cheap with some kind of fancy non-maternity top that I can wear post pregnancy if the cut is right.

Any ideas gratefully received.

ASOS currently has a sale on.

Might be good to get something that you can dress up for Christmas but still wear afterwards.

I also like this dress from Topshop

Velvet wrap dress from Dorothy Perkins or ebay is usually pretty good for maternity party dresses as they hardly get worn.

Thanks santas, I love that topshop one. Will get it on order. That's cheered me right up. I had a trip to town yesterday to be told by every store I went into other than H&M that they don't stock maternity in stores anymore. H&M only had their basics.
