I need help with finding a comfortable bra!

I've been wearing this for a few years, but lately I've started finding the underwires and tight band to be unbearably uncomfortable. I had a hysterectomy in the summer and have also steadily gained weight over the last couple of years, so maybe that has something to do with it - it's a very sudden intolerance of a sensation (heavy breasts, tight bra) that I've put up with all my adult life. Confused

I've been wearing a Sainsbo's moulded crop top around the house (I don't even like the sensation of that chest band!), but it doesn't offer enough support and shape to go out in it, really.

With the style I've been wearing, I like the wide shoulder straps and wide (3 hook) chest band, and I like the extra support of the moulded cups. Is it possible to get a really supportive bra that isn't underwired? Any ideas? I want to look half decent over Christmas. Sad

I'm wearing a 32GG but I think I should be in a 34 really as have put on quite a bit of weight.

I'd try getting the same style in the right size before writing it off to be honest. It may make all the difference. Can you get to a store?

It sounds like you just need a bigger size. Get remeasured and just buy the right size. If you've put on weight then the bra is obviously too small. Don't just guess your size.

I can't see much on their site that goes above a G, Jessie.

I'll go to Bravissimo this week. I just wondered if any could recommend anything that fulfills the criteria but isn't underwired.

The most comfortable bras I have ATM are from Tesco, I hate underwired so have to search for reasonably attractive bras, ie not sports. I was really pleased with the Tesco ones I got, slightly padded but not too much with a decent back. I have just looked on their website and the ones I have do not seem to be on there anymore, but if you have one near you it might be worth trying a few on to try.
