It's for works xmas dinner, with black heels & black bag

It's a nice colour but a bit on the short side and I don't think it flatters your figure sorry.

I like the colour and the neckline- very pretty. You could do with a bra that hoiks your boobs up so that you can see your trim waist though. I think that's probably what's making you feel it's frumpy.

You look lovely, I'm not keen on the dress though - it is a little short (I always wear dresses that are too short )

I think I'll be squeezing into my usual xmas party dress which I love but is a bit too tight for me at the moment

I like the top with a better bra, but I'm a big believer in cleavage or legs, never both, so I agree it's too short. The length makes it unflattering too

It's a lovely colour on you so definitely worth looking at other styles in that colour.

Lovely colour & fabric but the fullness of the skirt adds too much bulk. If it was a pencil dress (and yes, longer) it would be so much nicer on you.

I think you're too slim for this dress. The cut makes it look like it should be worn by a larger lady. You should go for something more fitted.
