&a other stories silk shirts

Anyone got one? I'm trying to put together a Christmas Day outfit that I might actually wear the components of again. I've got a black leather skirt and was wondering about this dark red shirt maybe with glittery nails and a big necklace?

I quite like the sparkle blouse on there too but it's not much cheaper, 100% polyester and obviously less wearable. Anyone got any experience of the quality of the silk ones?

I've got one of their silk shirts. It's lovely, fits my straight-up-and-down shape really well, and I've already worn it a few times. I haven't washed it yet though so can't comment on the quality long term. Also I think the label says dry clean but it's going in the machine anyway .

Oo, thanks. I'm a different shape though so maybe it won't work so well. They look really nice- the price seems less than you'd expect if you compare them to other things on the site.

Oh don't let the shape thing put you off trying it. I was just comparing to another silk shirt I'd ordered out of oasis - I'm usually a 10-12 but the 12 was slightly too tight across the bust whilst the hem too broad so I could only have worn it tucked in - I returned the oasis one when I found the one from stories. Yes the price is ok. Btw Massimo Duti also have some nice silk shirts at a similar price point. Have you also looked in there?
