I want to treat my mum to a hand cream a little nicer than she would normally afford (but not extortionate!!). Does anyone have any recommendations?

If she doesn't need much moisturising I would suggest L'Occitane as a treat. Soap & Glory are good quality and fun.

I think the Liz Earle ones are lovely. Not greasy at all and a pleasant but not overpowering scent.

Just got that Neal's yard Honey and Orange hand cream from the M&S advent calendar. It made my skin beautiful and I was shocked that it still felt and looked better the next morning. Plus it smells yum and has pictures of bees on it. It costs £10 to buy ( I checked because I will definitely be buying it)

Soap and glory hand food is lovely.

This one from Lush (in pic) or Dream Cream. Or try ones from www.suneetacosmetics.co.uk the creams I've tried from there are lovely.

Crabtree & Evelyn hand therapy. They also do gift set duos including the hand scrub. Divine stuff Smile

I got one which is sold in Waitrose linked below as a present earlier this year and it's gorgeous - really sorted out my horrendously dry hands! I'm going to treat myself to some more for Christmas Grin

I'm addicted to Rituals Imagine Rice Milk and Cherry Blossom its very good and smells yum.

I like Boots No 7 Protect and Perfect overnight hand cream: I think it has made my nearly 53 year old hands look better.
There is a day hand cream in the range as well, but I've not tried that one.

Another for Soap and Glory Hand Food

QuimReaper · 13/12/2016 00:25

S&G Hand Food is great, but I'd go Neal's Yard for a gift. They smell delicious.

LauraPalmersBodybag · 13/12/2016 00:25

Liz Earle ones are lovely or there's a really nice from Aveda called Hand Relief - it smells like cloves and always reminds me of Christmas.

QuimReaper · 13/12/2016 00:25

Oh, or Aesop. Actually that's my all time fave.

LauraPalmersBodybag · 13/12/2016 01:35

Actually, screw my previous suggestions. Buy Aesop.

Molton Brown

Also L'Occitane tubes, they have various ones, but my favourite is the cherry blossom.

carrie74 · 17/07/2018 20:25

L'Occitane - either the best seller Shea butter one or one of the scented ones (I like the lime). Wouldn't use anything else now, it's the dogs'.
