Can anyone recommend a skincare range for my dd age 13

She has very dry sensitive skin, gets lots of dry flaky patches and easily irritated and the odd teenage spot

I'm looking for a cleanser and moisturiser, have been looking at the avene cleansing bar (like a soap) and looked in body shop but wonder if I should be going for something more like eucerin

Ideally nothing that's going to break the bank would be good.

My DD uses the Amie range (you can buy on line or Waitrose sell it). Gentle and designed for young skin. She has the exfoliating face wash (I use the other one in the pink tube), the rose micellar water and we bought both moisturisers which she likes too.
She's also partial to my Avene Extremely Gentle cleanser!!

I used to suffer with the same when I was younger and tried everything I could get my hands on. In the end it turned out that simply washing my face with ordinary Dove soap bars and a flannel did the trick!

I don't get dry patches anymore (well didn't before pregnancy, now my skin is a whole new ball game), and my skin really cleared up! Just make sure there's a few flannels on rotation and changed and washed every couple of days so they don't get grimy!

Then with moisturiser I just use one from Palmers, one of their cocoa butter ones for the face.

Good luck :)

I was sceptical, but my dd was recommended the Clean Start range by dermalogica, specially designed for teenagers, and it has genuinely transformed her skin.

It's not cheap, but what a difference.

I second Dermalogica, all three of my teenagers use the teen range and it's fab. Although it costs more initially it lasts so much longer than the high street brands and has made a real difference to them all.

Thanks I will take a look at all of those not sure the demalogica will suit her as looking online it seems to be more for teen/spot prone skin
