Timberland Boots - resoling

Got my lace up boots (bought 20 ish years ago) out thinking they might fit dd. However the moulded rubber sole is sticky and perishing. Are they beyond hope or can you get them resoled, is it worth it if so?

I asked in Tiso (big brand in Scotland and Lake District, not sure if it's in the rest of England) about doing mine about 5 years ago, and they said no. I still miss those boots though!
