Can a short person wear a jumpsuit?!

Short as in 5ft, size 8, curvy but not really overweight ... Not particularly short legs - petite sizing is always too short, but not exactly toned either. I'd love something a bit glam and different to wear for New Year's Eve but suspect I'd look silly in a jumpsuit. All my friends are tall, willowy, fashionable, confident women Envy and so I always end up feeling dowdy and wanting to hide away.

Will one of you lovely, stylish people point me in the right direction so that I actually WANT to go out to celebrate?! Flowers

I think you could definitely wear a jumpsuit. I think leg length does make more difference than general height.

Kylie is about 5ft and she pulls off all sorts of outfits.

It's also all about how you feel wearing something. Why don't you go and try some on?

Perhaps look for one without too much fussy detail.

I'm the same height and size as you and I have a lovely jumpsuit from ASOS petite collection...I think it suits me. My legs are normally just a bit too long for petite and just a bit too short for regularly, but these are ankle grazer length and looks good. But I've just looked and the exact style I have is not online anymore but there are other ones.

Thank you. I think you're right, I won't know unless I try. And I have 2 DDs who will tell me the truth (and not always tactfully) if I get it wrong!

Thanks for giving me the confidence to give it a try.

My only concern about jumpsuits (I bought one once) is the rear view. They can make your arse look flat or saggy
