Birchbox is it worth it?

So... I took out a birchbox subscription. Will I regret this? I'm sure there will be some items in each box I won't use but I do like trying new things.

Anyone have one of these...what's it like and did you carry on with your subscription?

I've had it for 9 months, switched from lookfantastic. I have discovered a few products I like (mainly hair and makeup, I'm never adventurous with those), tested a few brands I heard about, and to be honest saved myself some money as I discovered they're not that special, I donate things I don't need to my sister and friends who are happy to receive them (eye pencils and cheek and lip tints are on repeat). I always have interesting small size items for the swimming pool or travelling. I will continue, it's always fun receiving the little parcel - December one came today and I couldn't wait to unwrap it despite being spoilt by M&S advent calendar.

I have a birchbox too, I've been really pleased with it. Just ran out of felt tip liner and one came in December's box so I'm delighted. I started getting it when i discovered I was pregnant as I figured I wouldn't be spending money on wine. Im thinking of getting a gin subscription instead when baby arrives! X
