Ankle boots like these for everyday wear?

I've just ordered these. I really like them but they are both small and narrow.

Can anyone suggest any alternatives? Need to be flat, leather, go with jeans and be under £50. I like the Lotus ones being metallic but don't mind if they're not.

I used to have a pair of brown Fitflop boots (not stylish but incredibly comfortable) which served the same purpose.

I got a couple of pairs of these a while back - very comfortable, and seem to be heard wearing.

FurryDogMother · 08/12/2016 12:25

That would be HARD wearing, and they're not leather, so probably not what you wanted. Oh well :)

HalfACentury · 08/12/2016 13:46

I would like leather if possible.

I like the second pair with the buckle,,,

Catgirl83 · 08/12/2016 14:36

I really like the second pair.

Carneddai · 08/12/2016 14:40

Have a look at Art Company shoes. I have a couple of pairs from them, inc ankle boots and love em! Very hard wearing too!

HalfACentury · 08/12/2016 15:04

I like the Art Company boots Carneddai . Quite like Camper. But too expensive at the moment unfortunately.

On a slightly different tack, i quite like a couple of Clarks ones
Orinocco Spice

And Orinocco Club in berry.

But I can't see any discount codes and can't quite stretch to £60 at the moment.

What does anyone think?

There are unlikely to be any discount codes around now until around Christmas - everyone's just done Black Friday/Cyber Monday offers. For the sake of a tenner I would get Clarks if you can because they'll last longer than cheap high st versions.

That said maybe try ASOS? They have a few under £50. Sorry for massive links.

Lots at mandmdirect.com.
I bought a pair of calf length Bench boots for £40 more than 5 years ago from them and they have lasted well. Not stylish but comfy and functional.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 08/12/2016 19:08

Wait until January?

HalfACentury · 08/12/2016 19:55

I've just ordered these from ASOS

There the ones PNGirl suggested but in brown and only £31 so thanks for that. I hadn't thought of looking there.

Fingers crossed. If no good, I may wait for the Clarks ones to be reduced. I'll have a look on mandmdirect too.

At least I can send the metallic ones back now and DH can stop the jokes about a spaceman looking for his boots!
