I'm mid-30s, tall, size 6-8

Well if I was mid-30s, tall, size 6-8 I'd wear it and no doubt look fabulous
But I'm mid 40's short and dumpy so it would look terrible on me.
I like it, have you tried it on?

pictish · 06/12/2016 22:13

That could look rather slinky and stunning, yes.

SeamusMacDubh · 06/12/2016 22:18

It looks like it's made for a tall size 6/8 woman in their 30s, so I'd say it's pretty perfect for you Xmas Smile

Tried it on . Looks better on than in pictures IMO

It shed lots of glitter tho

Just not sure I'm going to get the occasion to wear it. Seems like everyone is going more casual to my work do. But perhaps I could wear it to the pub with leather jacket for NYE

Lovely 👍 It would look great with a biker jacket too.

Sorry. Didn't mean to post twice, my phone obviously needs its morning coffee!

honeylou42 · 07/12/2016 06:40

It's very 80s Grin

Bluntness100 · 07/12/2016 06:49

Hmmm, I also think it's quite dated, maybe because I'm 47 and am fairly positive my step mother had something like this when I was a teen, I also think if the glitter sheds its going to be annoying, you'll find it everywhere and it's a bugger to get off, from the jacket you wear with it, to where you hang it in the wardrobe, or anything you sit on.

If I saw it hanging in a charity shop I'd assume it was from the eighties. Sorry op. I think you can do better.

BusterGonad · 07/12/2016 07:21

The 80s style is back though so saying it's 80s is in a way a complement!

BusterGonad · 07/12/2016 07:21

Agreed glitter is so annoying and may very well wash if in the machine!

29redshoes · 07/12/2016 07:35

I'd find the glitter too annoying. I may be turning into my mother...

GinIsIn · 07/12/2016 07:38

I don't really like the ruching- the tight cut plus low neck plus pattern plus sparkle plus ruche is a lot going on on one dress!
