Bleaching hair

I am an old gimmer. I have naturally curly hair which is approximately 15 percent grey. In early September I had my hair bleached to a dark blonde. Now I have root regrowth. I would like to go much lighter to almost platinum blonde. I am in Portugal and speak very little of the language so can't discuss it with my hairdresser. Can anyone give me some technical advice so that I can get it translated.

I don't think you really need technical advice. If you say almost platinum, that will only be achieved with prelightener; either tightly foiled or global application. If you can't translate that, I would save a few photos on your phone to show. Post an after pic! :)

Sorry I really didn't explain myself clearly. Wine may have been taken. I had a whole head bleach early in September. I need my roots doing now as my natural colour is mid brown. Will they be able to do all of my hair a lighter shade of blonde or will that be too much chemicals?would doing just my roots be wiser?

When I had my hair bleached I definitely had the colour lightened overall at the same time has having my roots done - at a minimum they always did something to strip out the brassy tones (I have naturally dark hair and achieving anything close to platinum blonde was quite hard!)

Thanks for that. I am a bit cautious because I once sat next to a Polish lady in the hairdresser. She had home permed and bleached her hair in the wrong order. When the results weren't as she wished because she couldn't read the English instructions, she redyed her hair . The result was not a pretty sight.
