Feet look twisted in high heels

Does anyone else have this issue - and is there a cure through podiatry? I think it could be due to the fact I have really high arches, but when I wear very high heels, my feet look all twisted from the ankle. If the shoes don't have a back then my heels are sort of hanging off the inside edges. It's really annoying because it limits the heels I can wear without my feet looking a bit weird. It also means when I walk in high heels, I kind of have to do a bit of a twisted gait to keep everything stable.

Mine too! Also have high arches. It's a real bugbear because I love high heels but can't wear them.

Thanks for your reply. I do wear heels but they have to have good support. It's nice to have high arches but sounds like our feet have taken it too far!

There's no cure for high arches.

tip toe staggerers will twist feet, (and gait) by definition. Just look at any red carpet photo.

a few years back a high heel was about 2 inches, so arses weren't sticking out and gaits weren't clumpy. Women looked good in heels then.
