What to wear with this dress (pic attached)

So I've just ordered this dress for a new years eve wedding, and am not sure about accessories
I definitely want to wear tights, but I wonder would black opaques not be dressy enough ? Does anyone wear black sheer tights anymore ?
Other option would be nude tights ?
I have a black fake-fur coat that'll do fine for the outside bit and church (which is likely to be cold)
Black shoes I suppose ? Or could nude do the trick ?

For me, I'd do nude tights and shoes. Alternatively pale grey sheer tights and grey shoes.

I would go
Clear Tights
These shoes and bag from M and S
and a classic Vivienne westwood Bas Relief Choker (check out Ebay for good deals)

ooooh i like those Dizzy, so sparkly :-D ... only thing is I couldn't walk on those heels, I'd need a block/wedge heel

I would wear nude tights and shoes and let the dress speak for itself - it's gorgeous.

Add a cream fur jacket. There are lots of shoes with lower heels that will be ok. LK Bennet have lower nude ones. I think the newer style low block heel ones are great. Fashion pages are full of them. Towering platforms have had their day really. See what Russell and Bromley have or Zara. Don't do wedges for a winter wedding. Or go with grey. Not black tights and definitely not opaque.
